PlayOne at a glance: what to know before signing up
PlayOne markets itself as an online casino with a video game look and a lot of gaming vocabulary. Behind the styling, it is an online slot machine arcade in the sense of Belgian law.
The range covers dice games, dice slots, roulette, electronic card games and live tables. The site is available in French, Dutch and English.

What we reviewed
On 7 October 2026 we read the operator's FAQ, its general terms of use, its safer gambling page, its list of game providers, its sitemap and the official register of the Gaming Commission.
We do not hold an account with PlayOne: the timeframes quoted are those the operator announces, not measurements of our own. Anything that is not published is reported as such.
We see PlayOne as a sound B+ site on the essentials: low entry amounts, plenty of deposit methods and a full set of controls. Its weak spots are bank transfer as the only way out, the lack of a chat, and a Token scheme we consider fragile in light of article 60.
Léo MichelOnline casino writerLicence and safety at PlayOne: B+ licence, holder and player protection
A B+ licence linked to Versailles Casino
The domain playone.be appears on the Gaming Commission's official list of B+ licences (official source, opens in a new tab), which covers slot machine arcades operated online.
The register links this licence to the company Royal Saint-Josse and to its land-based venue « Versailles Casino », an arcade located in Sambreville. The file number and expiry date are shown in the technical sheet on this page, refreshed daily from the register.
Royal Saint-Josse or SONIC S.A.: who runs the site
Royal Saint-Josse is a limited liability company based in Gilly, registered under number 0860.047.530, which you can check in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (official source, opens in a new tab). The site footer and article 1 of the terms give the same identity.
The French FAQ, however, states that the platform is « exploitée par la société belge SONIC S.A. » (operated by the Belgian company SONIC S.A.) and that your winnings will be paid out by that company. The two clearly belong to the same group, but according to the register only Royal Saint-Josse holds the licence for playone.be.
Identity checks and safer gambling tools
Registration is limited to people aged 21 and over. Identity verification happens once, shortly after sign-up: an identity document or proof of address, or automatic validation if you create the account with itsme.
The national register number ensures that each person can only hold one account. The FAQ also mentions two-factor authentication by email or text message, which you can switch on in your player area.
According to the FAQ, the « Responsible gaming » section of the account brings together the following settings:
- a weekly or monthly deposit limit, which you can set below the legal limit;
- a session length limit that ends play once the time is reached;
- a temporary time-out from 1 day to several weeks, during which the account is locked;
- a longer or even permanent self-exclusion, which cannot be reversed before the chosen end date;
- a « reality check » shown every 1 h 30 by default, adjustable from 15 minutes to 2 hours.
Lowering a limit takes effect immediately, raising it only after 72 hours. On top of these tools, the Gaming Commission lets you file a voluntary access ban (official source, opens in a new tab) online, valid for every licensed venue and website.
If gambling is becoming a burden, free and anonymous help is available from Gokhulp (official source, opens in a new tab) in Dutch and Aide en ligne (official source, opens in a new tab) in French, and the helpline 0800 35 777 is free of charge.

Our verdict: Safety and licence
8.2out of 10
The B+ licence is current in the register and its holder, Royal Saint-Josse, is easy to identify. One-off verification with itsme, two-factor authentication and a full range of tools (limits, time-out, self-exclusion, reality check) count strongly in its favour. A few points are lost because the FAQ names SONIC S.A. as operator, unlike the register and the general terms.
Withdrawals at PlayOne: timeframe, minimum and conditions
Announced timeframe: one business day of processing
The only withdrawal method described in the FAQ is a bank transfer, requested from the player area. The operator says a request is « generally » processed within 24 business hours once approved.
After that, the timing depends on your bank: according to the FAQ, the transfer usually arrives instantly, otherwise within at most 48 business hours. These are timeframes announced by PlayOne, not measurements.

Minimum withdrawal, fees and verification
The minimum withdrawal is 5 euros (general terms) and PlayOne charges nothing: you receive the amount requested, excluding any fees from your own bank.
Before a first withdrawal, your account must be verified and your email address confirmed. The terms add a rule many players overlook: the full amount deposited must have been wagered at least once before it can be withdrawn, as part of anti-money laundering controls.
Caps and checks set out in the general terms
| Rule | What PlayOne publishes | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum withdrawal | 5 euros | General terms, art. 11.3 |
| Maximum per online withdrawal | 5,000 euros | FAQ |
| Possible weekly cap | 5,000 euros after two consecutive withdrawals of 5,000 euros | FAQ |
| Caps the operator may apply | at least 500 euros a day, 1,000 euros a week, 5,000 euros a month | General terms, art. 11.3 |
| In-depth verification | above 2,000 euros | General terms, art. 11.3 |
| Investigation into play and winnings | up to 90 business days | General terms, art. 11.3 |
These clauses do not apply to every withdrawal, but they give the operator considerable room when it runs a check.
If you cancel a pending withdrawal yourself, the funds become playable again and you waive any complaint about that request, which is worth knowing before you click.
Strengths
- Processing announced within 24 business hours
- Transfer often instant according to the FAQ
- No fee charged by PlayOne on the withdrawal
Weaknesses
- Investigation possible for up to 90 business days
- In-depth checks above 2,000 euros
- Deposited funds must be wagered once before cashing out
PlayOne withdrawal times

- Virement bancaire1 day

Our verdict: Withdrawals
7.0out of 10
According to the operator, a transfer is processed within 24 business hours, from 5 euros and free of charge. The score stays moderate because only one withdrawal method is described. The general terms also allow possible caps (500, 1,000 and 5,000 euros) and an investigation lasting up to 90 business days.
Deposits and payments at PlayOne: methods and amounts
Eleven deposit methods from 5 euros
The FAQ lists eleven ways to fund an account, with a minimum deposit of 5 euros whatever the method. PlayOne charges nothing on deposits, which are credited instantly once approved.
- Bancontact by card or app, Bancontact One Click and Bancontact Mobile with a QR code;
- Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit cards;
- Apple Pay;
- Skrill and Neteller e-wallets;
- Paysafecard and Neosurf prepaid cards;
- Rapid Transfer and Brite instant bank transfers.

Legal limit and administration fee
As on every licensed site, Belgian law caps deposits at 200 euros per week per site. You can request a higher limit from your player area.
The request goes to the Gaming Commission, which first checks the National Bank's Central Individual Credit Register and, according to the FAQ, answers within 72 business hours on average.
Administration fee
The general terms allow PlayOne to charge a 15 % fee on deposits and withdrawals that are not used for play, for example a deposit withdrawn again without being wagered.

Our verdict: Payments
8.5out of 10
The FAQ lists eleven deposit methods, from Bancontact in three forms to Brite, including Apple Pay, Skrill, Neteller and two prepaid cards. The 5 euro minimum applies to all of them and the operator charges no fees. This is one of the strongest criteria in the review.
Games at PlayOne: catalogue, providers and live casino
Size of the catalogue and lobby sections
PlayOne's sitemap lists 641 French-language game pages on 7 October 2026, while the FAQ mentions « +1.000 » games. The operator publishes no official count, nor the number of slot machines.
The lobby menu sorts the catalogue into dice games, dice slots, roulette, cards, arcade, jackpots, live and providers. The games page adds rotating selections titled « Nouveautés », « Hot », « Focus » and « Populaire ».
| Section | Examples | Providers |
|---|---|---|
| Dice slots | Gates of Olympus Dice, 100 Power Hot Dice, Magnetic Coins Dice | Pragmatic Play, Amusnet, BF Games |
| Dice games | Infinity Dice, Mega Wheels, Crystal Dice | Air Dice, Amusnet |
| Roulette | European Roulette, Neon Roulette, Zoom Roulette | Amusnet, Darwin, Betsoft |
| Cards | BlackjackX, Pai Gow, Jacks or Better | Pragmatic Play, Betsoft, Amusnet |
| Arcade | Plinko Dice, Mines Dice, Penalty Shootout | Tada Gaming, Darwin, Pragmatic Play |
| Live | Auto Mega Roulette, Sic Bo | Pragmatic Play |
Games exclusive to PlayOne
PlayOne has no dedicated page for its exclusives: they are flagged by an « EXCLU » badge on the game tile. On 8 October 2026 we counted six, nearly all from the Betsoft studio:
- Birds in The City (Betsoft), also featured in the « Focus » section;
- 3 Pots of Venice, Gold Nugget Rush 2, The Governor and The VIP (Betsoft);
- Stunning Cash Ultra Dice (BF Games), marked « Exclusif » in the same section.
The operator does not say what the exclusivity covers, such as its duration or whether it applies to Belgium only. We report it as displayed.
Dice slots featured at PlayOne
Dice slots are slot machines whose symbols are dice, and the operator calls this section its « catégorie phare ». Its « Populaires cette semaine » selection showed the following on 8 October 2026:
- Gates of Olympus Dice and Gates of Olympus 1000 Dice (Pragmatic Play);
- 100 Power Hot Dice, 40 Extra Crown Classic Dice and 100 Super Dice (Amusnet);
- Magnetic Coins Dice (BF Games), 100 Dazzling Roll and 20 Shining Roll (EGT Digital);
- MultiDice 81 and Treasure Cubes (eGaming).
According to its title, the selection changes every week. It reflects the operator's choice, not a measurement of ours.
Live tables and game shows at PlayOne
The « Live » section describes tables streamed from a studio with a host: roulette, card games and TV-style formats. On 8 October 2026, however, it listed only five titles:
- three automatic roulettes from Pragmatic Play: Auto Mega Roulette, Speed Auto Roulette and Auto Roulette;
- a European Roulette from Amusnet;
- a Sic Bo from Pragmatic Play, a dice game of Chinese origin.
No game show and no live blackjack or baccarat table appeared in that list, despite the page description. We therefore name no title of that kind.
Cards, roulette and arcade at PlayOne
Outside the live section, the « Cartes » section lines up around twenty BlackjackX tables from Pragmatic Play, blackjack variants from Darwin, Gaming1 and Betsoft, plus Pai Gow, Caribbean Poker, Three Card Rummy and Dragon Tiger. Video poker is there too, with Jacks or Better, Joker Poker and Deuces Wild.
The « Roulette » section gathers seventeen titles, from Amusnet's European Roulette to Betsoft's Zoom Roulette. The « Arcade » section mixes crash and Plinko-style games, such as Crash rising dice and Plinko Dice, with virtual races from Pragmatic Play.
Games with a built-in jackpot have their own section, covered in the chapter on the offer. We found no bingo, keno or scratch card section.
PlayOne providers and return to player
The providers page lists eleven studios: EGT, Air Dice, Amusnet, Betsoft, BF Games, Darwin, eGaming, Gaming1, Pragmatic Play, Tada Gaming and WorldMatch. Air Dice supplies most of the titles in the dice games section.
According to the general terms, the return to player rate (RTP) of each game is set by its provider. PlayOne does not publish an average RTP for its catalogue.
An RTP is a theoretical average over a very large number of rounds and says nothing about the outcome of a session, which remains random.
PlayOne game providers
Our verdict: Games
6.2out of 10
The sitemap counts 641 game pages, well short of the more than 1,000 games the FAQ announces. Eleven providers and a five-title live casino, mostly automated roulettes, round out the range. For a B+ site that is an average catalogue, and no average RTP is published.
PlayOne on your phone: a responsive site, no app
Nothing to install
PlayOne offers no app to download, either on the App Store or, as far as we could check on 7 October 2026, on Google Play.
The FAQ owns this choice: according to the operator, the site is designed « mobile first » and fully responsive. Registration, deposits, withdrawals and games all work in the phone's browser.
Navigating on a small screen
Our screenshots, taken on a phone-sized screen, show a fixed navigation bar at the bottom (search, games, profile, notifications, menu) and help pages that read without zooming.
Without an app there is nothing to install or update, but also no fingerprint login handled by the operating system.
Our verdict: Mobile
6.0out of 10
No app is announced: the FAQ points to the browser and describes a fully responsive site, live casino included. We therefore apply the base score for a mobile site without an app.
PlayOne customer service: contact form, email and languages
Channels and response times
The FAQ says customer service is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The channel described is a secure contact form in the « Help and support » section of the player area.
Replies come by email, « often within an hour during the day, and always within 24 hours » according to the operator. No live chat or telephone number is published.
Languages and complaint addresses
The home page announces French-speaking and Dutch-speaking support. For a complaint about a game or a payment, the general terms point to the help tab or to support@playone.be; questions about the terms themselves go to info@playone.be.
Our verdict: Customer service
6.2out of 10
The form and email are announced as open 7 days a week, around the clock, with replies « always within 24 hours » and support in French and Dutch. With no chat or telephone published, the score stays average.
PlayOne's offer: Level Up Club, Token Boosters and jackpots
Article 60: a description, not a recommendation
Since 1 September 2024, article 60 of the Gaming Act of 7 May 1999 has prohibited Belgian operators from offering free plays, game credits or any advantage meant to attract or retain players. We describe what PlayOne displays without having verified its compliance with article 60 and without inviting you to take part.
PlayOne has no promotions page. The mechanisms it shows Belgian players are found on the Level Up Club page, in the FAQ and in article 11.5 of the general terms, which we reread on 8 October 2026.
The FAQ confirms that PlayOne does not give a sign-up bonus or free rounds. The Gaming Commission only accepts a higher return to player written into the game rules and identical for everyone, as set out in its information on the application of article 60 (official source, opens in a new tab).
The mechanisms on display
| Mechanism | How PlayOne describes it | Frequency | Published conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level Up Club | Tokens added with every real-money stake, converted into euros in the Token Crafter | Permanent | 1 Token per 10 euros wagered (dice, slots), per 30 euros (roulette, video poker, blackjack); 100 Tokens = 1 euro; aged 21 or over |
| Extra Payout | The general terms' name for the payout rate increase delivered through these Tokens | Permanent (art. 11.5) | 0.10 % on dice games and slots, about 0.03 % on roulette, video poker and blackjack; status reset after 12 months without any deposit |
| Token Boosters | Games in « Boost mode »: a multiplier increases the Tokens awarded | Occasional, no dates | Games and multiplier announced beforehand (art. 11.5.4); none visible without an account on 8 October 2026 |
| Tournaments and Prize Drops | Run by game providers, with extra rewards | No calendar | Rules on the site or inside the game (art. 11.6); no public edition found |
| Jackpots | Fixed or progressive jackpot built into the game, sometimes on several tiers (Mini, Major, Grand) | Permanent | Minimum or maximum stake sometimes required, see the game information |
What we flag
The Level Up Club and the Extra Payout depend on the amount wagered and partly on a player status whose categories are not published. The Gaming Commission only tolerates an RTP increase identical for every play, so we flag both for review.
A progressive jackpot grows from a share of the stakes and is triggered by a combination or at random: its outcome stays random. A return converted into euros never makes up for the losses of a session.
PlayOne has no app, so this operator has no boost for installing an app or logging in through one. The home page also announces XP, rewards and trophies « in the future », which we will not describe until they exist.
Long but well-structured terms
The general terms are available in French, Dutch and English, with the French version prevailing. They state that the right of withdrawal does not apply to deposits and withdrawals, and that an account still unverified after three months may be suspended.
Strengths
- FAQ confirms there is no sign-up offer
- Token conversion rate published
- Terms available in three languages
Weaknesses
- Player status categories not published
- Token Boosters announced without a calendar
- Tournaments in the terms with no public rules
Our verdict: Offer and terms
4.8out of 10
The FAQ clearly explains that there is no sign-up offer. The general terms, however, describe Extra Payout tokens that partly depend on player status, and the home page announces future advantages. Compliance with article 60 still needs confirming, which weighs on this criterion.
Our final verdict on PlayOne
Who PlayOne suits
PlayOne suits a Belgian player looking for a licensed B+ site that is accessible from 5 euros, with a wide choice of deposit methods and a full set of controls that can be adjusted from the account.
The announced processing time of 24 business hours for a transfer is in line with the better licensed sites.
Who it suits less
It is less suited to anyone who wants to withdraw by a method other than bank transfer, use an app or talk to an agent in real time. Read the withdrawal cap and verification clauses before depositing.
We recommend setting your deposit and session limits as soon as the account is open. Gambling is a paid leisure activity, never a source of income.

Frequently asked questions about PlayOne
Is PlayOne legal in Belgium?
Yes. The domain playone.be is on the Gaming Commission's list of B+ licences, in the name of the company Royal Saint-Josse, linked to the Versailles Casino arcade in Sambreville. The licence file number and expiry date are shown in the technical sheet, updated from the official register.
How long does a withdrawal take at PlayOne?
PlayOne states that a transfer is processed within 24 business hours once approved, after which the money usually arrives instantly or within 48 business hours at most, depending on the bank. These are the timeframes announced by the operator on 7 October 2026, not measurements.
Which payment methods does PlayOne accept?
For deposits, from 5 euros whatever the method: Bancontact (including One Click and QR code), Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit, Apple Pay, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, Neosurf, Rapid Transfer and Brite. For withdrawals, the FAQ only describes bank transfer. Deposits remain capped by law at 200 euros per week unless the Gaming Commission approves a higher limit after its checks.
Why does PlayOne not offer a bonus, and what is the Level Up Club?
A sign-up bonus and free rounds are not offered, because article 60 of the Gaming Act has prohibited them since 1 September 2024. The site does display the Level Up Club: Tokens earned according to stakes (1 per 10 euros wagered on dice and slots), convertible at 100 Tokens for 1 euro, a mechanism whose compliance with that article we have not verified.
Does PlayOne have a mobile app?
No app is announced. According to the FAQ, the site is fully responsive and everything works in the phone's browser, from games to deposits and withdrawals.
What games can you play at PlayOne?
Mostly dice slots and dice games, followed by electronic roulette and blackjack, video poker, arcade games and five live tables from Pragmatic Play and Amusnet, according to our review of the lobby on 8 October 2026. Eleven providers are listed, and six games carry an exclusivity badge, nearly all from the Betsoft studio.
Does PlayOne's customer service speak French and Dutch?
Yes, the home page announces French-speaking and Dutch-speaking support. It works by contact form and email, 7 days a week, with a reply within 24 hours according to the operator; no chat is mentioned.
How can I set a limit or exclude myself at PlayOne?
In the « Responsible gaming » section of your account: weekly or monthly deposit limit, session limit, time-out from 1 day to several weeks, or self-exclusion. To block every licensed site and venue, file a voluntary access ban with the Belgian Gaming Commission.
