Affiliate transparency

Belgian consumer law requires paid editorial content to be clearly identified and any ranking to state whether payments influence it. This page meets both requirements by setting out our business model.

How we are paid

We are paid if you sign up through our links; this does not affect our ratings or rankings. In practice, when a reader clicks a button leading to a casino and then opens an account, the operator or its affiliate platform may pay us a commission. You pay nothing extra and the operator's terms remain the same for you.

Every button to a casino goes through an exit address on the site, in the form /go/casino-name. That address only redirects to the licensed domain of the casino, or to a click-tracking service run by the publisher, which in turn forwards to that domain. No address taken from the request is ever followed. The links carry the "sponsored" and "nofollow" attributes that identify them as commercial to search engines.

What payment does not change

  • a casino's rating, calculated with our public methodology;
  • the order of a ranking, which follows the rating or the data of that ranking;
  • whether a casino is featured: only operators licensed by the Gaming Commission are covered, with or without an agreement with us;
  • the content of our reviews, which report weak points as clearly as strong ones.

What we would disclose

If a ranking were ever influenced by payment, we would say so plainly next to that ranking, as article VI.100 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law requires. That is not the case today.

How player reviews are checked

The reviews published on our casino pages come from readers who confirmed their email address by clicking a personal link, valid for 48 hours. Each review is then checked by the editorial team before publication, and an address can post only one review per casino. We publish favourable and unfavourable reviews alike, we pay for no review and we write none ourselves. A review is rejected if it contains a link, an amount won, a promise of winnings, a bonus presented as available (prohibited by article 60) or abusive language.

What we do not do

We buy no social media advertising, send no promotional emails, run no retargeting and never pass on bonuses, since article 60 of the Gambling Act prohibits them.

Frequently asked questions

Do you pay more by using your links?

No. Any commission is paid by the operator. Your terms for playing, depositing and withdrawing are identical to a direct sign-up.

Do all featured casinos pay you?

Not necessarily. A licensed casino is reviewed and rated even without any commercial agreement with us.

Why do your links go through a /go address?

To guarantee that every click leads only to the licensed domain of the casino, and to measure which pages are useful. No address supplied by a third party can be followed.

Do your links record my IP address?

Not in readable form. The click is logged with an encrypted fingerprint from which the address cannot be recovered. Details are in our privacy policy.

Are affiliate sites allowed in Belgium?

The Gaming Commission states that affiliate websites advertising licensed websites are allowed, under the conditions of article 10 of the Royal Decree of 27 February 2023.
